The cadent houses relate to the mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Cadet houses are houses of change. The resources of the previous succedent house is moving toward the new expression of the next angular house. The cadent houses hold a sense of reflection, and states of mind.

The houses represent areas of life.

1st House - Ascendent
The first house is called the rising or Ascendent it is the house that sets the horoscope wheel the zodiac will follow in its natural from the rising. Looking at your natal chart as a clock the Ascendent will  be in the 9 o'clock position. The houses are pie shaped sections that run counter clockwise, putting the 2nd house at approx. 8 o'clock etc.
The first house is very important it tells how you look, the personality you present to the world.  Any planets in the 1st house describe your personality as well as the way you look. It can assist in determining health problems. You hide the insecurities of your sun sign behind the strengths of your rising sign.

2nd House
The 2nd house is your money and possessions, it tells how you deal with both. Virgo on the 2nd house cusp means you value the detailed little things, where as Pisces on the 2nd house cusp is giving stuff away, that you are spiritual instead of material and you don't need things. Your values.

3rd House
The 3rd house is your near neighborhood, what kind of neighborhood you like, your siblings in general, but 1st specifically, not necessarily how they are, but how you view them. Your early childhood, small animals, local schooling.

4th House
The 4th house is your childhood home, how you view your mother, your own home, what kind of housekeeper you are and circumstances at the end of life.

5th House
The 5th house is your creativity, love affairs, how you relate to children, it describes your children, and specifically your 1st child and your 2nd sibling.

6th House
The 6th house is health, hygiene, work, things you do on a daily basis.

7th House
The 7th house is one on one partnerships, not just marriage, but how you deal with a partner, what type of partners you chose, whether you would rather be alone. Partnerships in general, 1st husband specifically. Your 2nd child and 3rd sibling.

8th House
The  8th house deals with the sex, birth and death cycle, how you deal with sex, what kind of lover you are, how you deal with death, Your manner of death, it is also a psychic house one of the mystical houses, other peoples money.

9th House
The 9th house is distant travel, higher education, whether you will go vacations or to college or ministry school, your philosophy, large animals, travel, living overseas, 3rd child, 4th sibling, 2nd husband (partner).

10th House
The 10th house is your father (4th is your mother), bosses, careers, how you deal with the outside world, what kind of boss you make, how you view your boss, type of career you enjoy, fame.

11th House
Friends, what type of friends you choose, how you leave your mark on the world, hopes and dreams, what you want from life, 3rd partner.

12th House
The 12th house is things hidden, secrets you keep, it is a karmic house and shows service to others, institutions, prisons, hospitals etc. With 12th house planets you have karma with institutions, you are either working in them or you are living in them
