Ferret Play BoxesFerrets love to tunnel, play and sometimes dig. Many times I have heard owners ask "How can I teach my ferret to stop digging at the carpet, in the plants etc." The answer is... you can't. What you can do is give them a better place to dig and encourage them to use it. Large plastic storage boxes can be filled with different materials that are sure to be ferrety fun, When they dig in a forbiden area, pick them up and place them in the playbox and dig in it a bit with your hand to spark their interest. Many items can be used to make a playbox. Try rotating items to keep them interested. Some things you can use are:
