Toy Cautions:
- Avoid soft rubber or latex toys
- No eyes etc. that can be chewed off and swallowed
- Cage type balls do prevent a risk of a ferret getting a jaw caught in holes, use caution
- Make sure the squeaker in toys is not close to the surface of the toy. A squeaker just under the cloth shell has a high likely hood of being chewed out of the toy and can create a blockage if bits are swallowed.
- Some toys may be safe only when supervised.
- Some items may be safe with one ferret but not with another, always exercise common sense and inspect your toys often.
- Throw away any toy that shows signs of wear before it becomes a problem.
