Fill a jar with St. John`s flowers and add olive oil. Leave in the sun until it turns blood red. Tip jar over to blend once per day at least. After a few days remove the herb and replace it with more reusing the same oil.When the color is intense, strain and store and use as needed.

Rose Oil

2 ounces of dried rose petals to 1 pint of olive or safflower oil. Place this mixture in a warm place. Let it sit for 2-3 days. Tip jar over to blend once per day at least. Strain and bottle the oil. For a stronger oil, replace the herb after a few days reusing the same oil.
