Medicinal Uses for Essential Oils

General Info:
1 dram = 1/8 oz
3 tsps (tsp) = 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
2 tablespoons (tbsp) = 1 ounce (oz)
6 tsps (tsp) = 1 ounce (oz)
10 milliliter (ml) = 1/3 oz.
15 milliliter (ml) = 1/2 oz.
30 milliliter (ml) = 1 oz.
10 milliliter (ml) = approximately 300 drops

Abrasions:
6 drops lavender
Clean well with 5 drops lavender diluted in a small bowl of warm water.
Apply one drop undiluted lavender directly from bottle and leave to
heal.

2 drops tea tree oil
Apply directly, promotes healing
Also very good for burns or scalds

Athlete's Foot Soak
3 drops lavender
2 drops tea tree or eucalyptus
4 oz. of hot water
Soak feet in water for at least 15 minutes.

Athlete's Foot and Ringworm:
1 drop lavender
2 drops tea tree
1 tsp base oil
Stir, and apply with cotton swab.

Anxiety:

All of these alleviate anxiety and depression. Mix as desired and
use in a room diffuser or 6-8 drops of this blend in the bath.

Baby Massage:
I drop roman chamomile
1 drop lavender
1 drop geranium
2 Tablespoons Sweet Almond oil

Minor Burns:
2 drops lavender
Immediately apply ice cold water for 10 minutes. Then apply 2 drops
undiluted lavender

Burns or bruises:
Apply pure lavender oil directly on the burn or bruise.

To Open Chest and Sinus:
2 drops lavender
2 drops tea tree
2 drops eucalyptus
Boil a pot of water and remove from the stove. While still steaming,oils.
Cover bowl and head with towel and inhale for al least 3 minutes.
KEEP EYES CLOSED.

3 drops sweet basil oil

it from the vial)

2 parts sumatra patchouli
2 parts atlas cedarwood

600 ml iced water
Wring out a piece of fabric in water, and apply to forehead or back
of neck. Re-apply when the fabric warms to body temperature.

Blend into 2 oz jojoba oil

apply to washcloth wrapped ice cube to relieve teething pain in children |

1/2oz glycerin (can use any vegtable oil)

If it seems too strong double the amount of glycerin

use rosemary oil if you are an epileptic or have high blood pressure.
Caution: If you have asthma never use lavender in a steam, it will
